DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a technical writer for a March 19-20 in-person workshop for the Engineering Research Visioning Alliance on quantum-enabled technologies. This is an incredible opportunity to be in the room for two days with the nation’s experts in quantum technology and translate their vision for the next 2 decades of engineering research priorities in this area.
We’re looking for a writer who also has technical knowledge in any of these areas: quantum computing, quantum + biology, quantum + AI, quantum + materials. Grad students and early-career faculty would find this an attractive opportunity to do important work and be credited in a nationally recognized report in their interest area.

Date to submit RFI: Feb. 12, 2024
Air and hotel expenses covered (per diem at federal rate)
Flat fee per scope of work plus hourly rate requested in RFI; pay is on contracting basis and competitive with similar academic writing fees
