DESCRIPTION: I’m a longtime URMAn who is now retired from editing an institutional magazine, but I’m still freelancing — and enjoy being a lurker on the URMA listserv.
One of my freelance clients, the Columbia University School of Nursing, has asked me to spread the word about an opening for a Communications Manager in their Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing. The individual hired will be the school’s point person for media pitches and queries. Columbia ranked #1 in NIH funding among all U.S. schools of nursing in FY 2022, and the school also has a very strong social justice focus, so there’s interesting work to pitch.
